Anyone going to the Open House today?

I just got in to the Masters of CS at Columbia, and am wondering if anyone else here intends on going? I don't know much about the program, length, etc, and would be interested to know anything that people are willing to share. I will also probably get into the NYU program. My understanding is that with NYU's merger with Poly, it might not be a great place to be for a while. Does anyone know anything about that?

Congrats! That's great news. Still waiting to hear from Columbia and NYU here. If anyone knows what is going on with Columbia, let us know.

It looks like all the acceptances are going out now then, I think...and the rest of us will be getting rejections at a much later date. Oh well.

And now they have just admitted a bunch of Masters students, and rejected one. What is going on?

Looks like someone got into the Columbia Masters program today...check the results forum. Maybe they are doing rolling admissions now?

I applied only to two schools: NYU and Columbia, both in New York. Does anyone have any experience with the masters programs at these schools? How long does it generally take for them to come back with a decision?

Anyone know when Columbia MS generally goes out? There seems to be a ton of phD rejections going out right now.
