I was notified on Wednesday and was told that it would take about a week to hear from the Graduate School.

I received an email from the University of Maryland stating that I had been recommended for admissions to the Graduate School. Good news, right? However, I am worried that the Graduate School will reject me because I have a 2.88 GPA and the Minimum GPA is a 3.0? What are my chances that the school with reject me? Wouldn't the program have denied me if my gpa was a problem? This whole process is driving me crazy. Any information is welcomed.
