MICA OR TYLER I did my undergrad at tyler and visited mica while applying, however decided not to apply to mica based on cost, studio sizes, and because you only have one primary professor in the painting program. Someone I know called University of Washington, Seattle , and she seemed to be told results would not be given till the end of march, possibly early April. I was very surprised by this.

I know someone who applied to Rutgers with a concentration in painting who got a rejection in the mail today.

Yea I did not send official transcripts to Rutgers either. The language seems to be a bit vague on whether they will use your unofficial to make their decision on your application. I think its fine, if they are really interested in your work, they will address your transcripts when the time comes. They working on a building a great program there they wont shortchange themselves at the expense of an official transcript.

It seems no one has heard from Rutgers regarding concentrations in painting yet. So I imagine those acceptances are still coming.
