@Fenguin - All those admits/interviews are impressive ! Unless you already have a fav school picked out you have some major decision making to be done soon. When did Duke send invites? I haven't gotten a reject yet and no updates heard.

@waiting-it-out: I can imagine the not taking engineering classes being an issue for some schools. All I can say is keep waiting for now! I called UCSD today and they told me that my application has not been reviewed. But they also said that interview invitations have been made. I am completely frustrated as to how can they invite students without even completing reviews first. They said that a definite answer should be 'hopefully' available by the end of this week.

So I just checked my email to find an invite from Georgia Tech/Emory for their open-house/interview weekend!! Got the email Friday evening. Anyone has any ideas about how the interview works? Do they cut off a lot of people? They said that admission decisions soon follow after the interview weekend. Still haven't heard from UCSD, Washington, MIT and Duke for now.

Hey waiting-it-out. Sorry for the JHU reject, I know how it feels but being on an F-1 makes it much harder to get in. From what I know none of the other schools you have applied to have started sending invites so you still have a lot of schools left. Don't worry. Enjoy the weekend, that is what I am planning. No emails from grad schools over the weekend so live it up!

I am an international student but doing my undergrad in the US. Hoping to hear back from JHU, UCSD, Duke, GAtech, MIT and Washington right now. The wait is getting a bit too much ! Has anyone heard back about interviews from the above mentioned schools? Good luck!

So any fellow PhD students for Biomedical Engineering out there? I am on the wait for hearing back from the top league i.e JHU, Duke, Gatech etc. Interviews/Open house/Admits/Rejects anyone?
