thanks for the heads up! i had no idea that they didn't interview everyone, so i just assumed that since i didn't hear from them (and i saw other people had interviewed) that it meant a rejection. I'll definitely be on the lookout for any word from them! thanks and good luck!

i was also waitlisted for MICA today. better than a rejection, but disappointed.

i was accepted there for graphic design via snail mail in late february!

nope, nothing today! i'm assuming it will come by mail now...the website says they send out decisions on the 18th, so it could be only a matter of days before we find out! i'm so nervous!

were you contacted before you got the official letter to let you know that you were accepted? i know a few of us over the in the graphic design thread have been waiting to heard back from MICA. i only interviewed less than two weeks ago, so i thought i would have to wait a while longer before i heard anything. i'm worried that since i haven't, that i'm waiting on a rejection letter

well at least we are all in the same boat! hopefully that's not a bad thing! i interviewed on 3/4 too. i really didn't expect to hear anything back for 2-3 weeks, so i was surprised to hear someone else did so soon. i also LOVED it so i'm crossing my fingers that we will all hear good news soon!

they said it was for the graphic design MFA...i also thought they were going to wait until at least the 18th to send out notices, so i'm confused too! maybe they interviewed in an earlier group, so they are being notified earlier? i have no idea if that's how it works or not, so like you said...who knows at this point!

has anyone heard from MICA? someone posted in another thread that they were accepted via email this past friday, and that they were going to continue contacting people today...and i haven't heard anything! my interview was a little over a week ago and i didn't expect to hear back for at least a couple of weeks, so hearing that some people have been accepted is making me really anxious! good luck everyone!

thanks for the great info! it makes me feel a lot better to know that they will continue to notify people on monday! i went to interview on 3/4. it was a great experience! after my interview i was able to chat with some current grad students and also sightsee around baltimore a bit. the GD MFA space was also super impressive! i'm really anxious to hear back from them, it's my top choice. congrats again!

how did they notify you? i also applied for their graphic design MFA and went there in person to interview recently...i thought it went great, so now i'm getting nervous! congrats though, i was so impressed with their program!

hello everyone! so i'm probably over thinking this, but maybe you kind folks can offer some insight in the area of interviews...do you think there is an advantage for interviewing in person, versus skype or over the phone? I know some schools offer different options for interviewing (especially since many of us are applying to schools all over the country!), but i'd love to get other people's opinions! thanks!
