I applied to Temple too. My transcript was missing, and they were nice enough to let me know.
They allow me to send them the transcript even it was after the deadline.
So, I would not worry about Temple application. If they find out some problems with your application, I think they would have informed you.
I agree with you. They sounded like it's ganna be a fun socializing thing, but for applicants being nervous about their decision, it won't be "FUN" at all. Meeting with "faculty by whom you're being judged" and sharing a hotel room with "other students with whom you're competing".... how can this possibly be fun?
NYU sent the agenda for the Student Prospective Weekend. I will be very very very sad if they say no after the event. I will be like "what was the point?!" well. they are paying for it though... but still, it will hurt me.
I think, schools should let people know if they are going reject them. I hate to have expectations...while knowing some people got accepted (I'm happy for them, don't take me wrong).
Like U of W-M, my online page remains "pending" forever.
Thank you for responding me to my NYU question:
I am also a int'l student, but currently live in the U.S. Today, I received another email from one of NYU's ADMISSION COMMITTEE!! people who is "very intrigued by" my interests. It was nothing important, she just asked me if I have any questions before coming to NYU for the weekend thing.
NYU is my first choice... I really really hope to get in.
