Congratulations to the winners! I did not receive the fellowship, nor honorable mention. Thus another addition to the "learning experiences" column, opposite that of "successes." For all others in my position, never forget that it isn't personal; continue to pursue what interests you most and that know that happiness and does not require external validation! Good luck to everyone in academe, especially my fellow faux, social scientists.

Fastlane states that those who will not be granted the fellowship will be notified as promptly as possible. Has this been the case, or are we all waiting for results--up or down--on the same day?
