[New GEO graduate students - What's your subfield?]

Hey all!

I was just wondering what everyone plans on researching for their potential thesis/dissertation?

I will be attending the University of Rhode Island's Graduate School of Oceanography under Dr. Steven Carey and I will most likely be working on his project concerning the tsunami risk hazard in the Mediterranean Sea associated with Marsili volcano.

Just curious what you all plan on studying!
