I just checked this link, and my status is still submited. Do you have the same status?

No only undergraduate students. I have publications, but no strong recommendation letters. How could I get strong recomm letters if I could not get into top OR/IE program?! If I am in a top OR/IE progam and got these letters, why I have to apply programs in other top programs?! Maybe I should go to South Harmon Institute of Technology to be a "S.H.I.T"!

1 day 1 rejection. My 3rd rejection from MIT Sloan School. Nothing to say, and I am waiting for remaining rejections. :cry:

You may be accpeted by Stanford cause you haven't get rejection letter yet. They send a bunch of rejection letters this afternoon. Good luck for you and myself.

I got my 2nd rejection from Stanford, but no offer yet! I feel so bad now....

Operations and Management Science. There was an accept post yesterday here. So I called and they told the committee are reviewing all applications and they will set up interviews by themselves. I know someone got interview almost 10 days ago. Sigh....

I applied OR in Sloan School, but many faculty members in that field are also listed on the website of ORC. I feel so scared~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Cornell said they will inform appliers April 1st. Fool people and make fun... :x

I called Cornell and they told me no decision has been made of my application. They send some admits to some students. No other information

I did not get any notice from Cornell! One more rej.... I predicted that Kate and Sean can win the OSCAR, but how about myself? Can anyone predict who gonna accept my application? :cry:

You got admission of Master program from Cornell, right? Did you hear anything about PhD program?

This is the exact word from that professor. Maybe you need to have a recommender with strong background, such as a research leader in the field you applied. If you can get a letter from the dean of Sloan School, definitely you will get in!

No, I got my BS in China, and my ms here.

I got reply from the professor I kept contacting from USC. She told me that the reason I got rejection is I don't have a strong reference letter. It seems that recommendation letters are very important, even more important than research background. :shock: I have 1 journal paper, 3 conference papers and 2 presentations in INFORMS annual meetings.

Not sure. There is an OR field of PhD program in Sloan, and manay faculty members are also in ORC. No clue of the relation between Sloan and ORC

I applied the OR field in Sloan. Hopeless

UCLA anderson is on my list, plus MIT, CMU. Rest of my applications are engineering. OMG! It is impossible to get through MIT and CMU, right?
