I just got accepted to the MA program in Applied Linguistics at UCLA, so I'd be interested to hear about anyone's experiences with the program as well. More specifically, I'd like to hear about whether the department is mostly focused on SLA theory and research, or if it also has a strong focus on applications in language pedagogy.
