Chill out man. EE & CS are like brother and sister! Notice how these departments co-exist (happily I hope :-)) as EECS in many of the top schools (ie MIT, UC Berkeley, etc)? I would be mad too if it was a History major asking his question here, but its just EE.
Agree!!!! That guy needs to chill out.
On a separate note, my interview from Berkeley was pretty easy and I was asked mainly questions about my background (ie internship expierence, interests). Nevertheless, some friends were asked technical questions so just watch out.

Stanford Grad Diversity visit day (for all MS and PhD diversity students across all majors) is on March 4th.

I'm afraid so.
Last year they did major rejection waves Feb 25th and 26th, and started another wave of acceptances/waitlisting March 3rd or so..

I got admitted to Berkeley on the 9th of feb. My area is Computer Architecture... good luck everyone!
Congrats! When did you hear from Berkeley? Also could share your area within EE?

Admitted to Stanford, Berkeley, and CMU
Waiting: Cornell, UMich
3.8 GPA (UT) ; GRE: E 360, M 760; W 4.5... No research experience, 4 internships with top companies, good LORs (2 employers, 1 faculty), really good SOP; NSF GRF recepient.
I will most likely choose Stanford (98% sure) and do only my masters.
