Sorry stressball, it was one of my top too...but I'm still waiting for an acceptance, so its good you have one in! Ah I guess they found their embarrassing mistake. I wonder if they'll send out corrections now.

True! Maybe we should just show up on admit day and see what they say "Your letter was for last year, so I just assumed you were letting me know what a possible rejection would say in abstract, if I were to get rejected, which clearly you didn't want to do. How thoughtful of you." Ah my smiles turn to frowns

I got the same rejection letter as above. You know the best part? It talks about the application for 2011 (which we already filled out...) being available last year...meaning they just recopied last year's form letter. Quality.

Trying to keep this mindset, but more thinking that no news is the same as bad news...i hope not though! Emailed a Berkeley prof I was in contact with and still haven't gotten any feedback. Maybe they're still making decisions...

Any news on Berkeley? Still didnt hear from Columbia (but according to last year, they send their rejections waaaaaaaay late). Haven't seen any Cal rejections though...

I'm guessing I'll get my rejection in the mail by the end of the week from Princeton. Has Berkeley sent out rejections yet? I haven't heard anything since acceptances came out a couple of weeks ago.

I've been wondering that too. I applied to ten programs, only heard back from 3 (two rejects, one waitlist at Yale), and haven't heard from anyone else. I'm assuming the worst, but wondering if I should e-mail the admins to see...
