First time poster here. I recently discovered this site and found it both alleviated and elevated my anxiety! I am an Ancient Historian who has been accepted to Chicago (PAMW), have an interview at Michigan, and wait-listed at Stanford. I am very pleased with the Chicago acceptance and hopeful for the Michigan interview, but my first choice is definitely Stanford. Does anybody know any details about the wait-list there (length, likelihood of getting accepted once on it, etc)? Or, is anybody planning to turn down an offer from Stanford? Thanks for all the postings, it's nice to know we are in this together.
