Does anyone have any experience of being waitlisted? If so, when do people usually hear back? I found out I was waitlisted at UNC Chapel Hill. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.

So I called Cornell and the lady who picked up got my name and then told me that if I didn't get on the waitlist or get a request for an interview, that I most likely did not get in. She also said that they're running a bit behind but letters should be mailed out next week. I hope this helps anyone. And I guess I must be rejected...

Is anyone who got into Washington University in St. Louis willing to talk about how much they got in scholarships? I didn't get a lot and tuition is really expensive so was wondering if others had a similar experience.

Don't worry, you're not the only one being silly. I keep freaking out and couldn't sleep til 7 a.m. this morning. I'm trying to stay positive. I got into WashU in St. Louis and I'm really glad...but tuition is so expensive that I'm not sure what's going to happen right now. Good luck to everyone!

Hmm I've always seen it as "No news is good news," and that if I haven't heard from a school yet, maybe it's because they're still considering me? I hope I'm right.

To determine admissions statistics...go to petersons.com, click on Graduate Search on the top left, and then type in: [school name] mfa art (ex: purchase mfa art). Then, once you get your search results and click on your link, click on Admissions to left side and you can see the percentage of acceptances and whatnot...hope this helped.

Hey guys, I've been creeping around for a bit and decided to join in the conversation. Here's my application info: Studio/Visual Art Washington University in St. Louis (accepted) and no news about financial aid, etc. yet UC Davis (rejected) UIC (rejected) U. Chicago- nothing yet but I called them and they said they were going to mail out decisions on March 4 and early this next week too UNC Chapel Hill- nothing but said they were trying to get all/most decisions mailed out by mid-March Cornell- nothing but they also said they were trying to get decisions mailed out by mid-March Purchase- nothing and no idea when they will decide Design UT Austin- rejected
