Now, philosophy of religion should be pretty doable there. They've got Paul Moser and Kieth Yandell, both big into philosophy of religion.
I am indeed there now, but I shouldn't say too much, you know, for fear of revealing myself... the course offerings over the past year are typical of my time at Loyola. Andrew Cutrofello is big into continental (great guy, very hands on helping grad students with advice), as is Adriaan Peperzak (although he is generally fully booked as far as committees go, so don't count on Peperzak as your go-to guy).
I guess I should rephrase a tad - if you're interested in Ancient, Medieval, and hardcore analytic stuff, you should really check into the faculty list and make absolutely certain Loyola is right for you. If you're interested in religion, Hegel, Levinas, feminism, or medical ethics, you're definitely on the right track.
They will be making a new hire - they've been having job talks of late. A Jesuit and an Aristotle scholar are in the running as of the last time I checked. And they did make a recent hire, Diana Meyers, who has gotten some good mentions (I haven't taken her). They lost Patricia Huntington, who is BIG into Kierkegaard, and from my experience a pretty great instructor. They haven't really done anything to address this, nor does it look like they will with their upcoming hire.
