You might be right. I am a ChemE, so I assumed there is no funding for MS, but clearly there is. Anyway, I wanted a PHD all along.

I applied to the PHD, cannot afford a MS, sigh... Yesterday when I checked with them, the word was "by the end of March".... Do you guys have any insight on how competitive it is? Personally I don;t know anyone who is applying to this program, or it is just because I am a ChemE.

Last time I checked, she said, "by March"...anyway, let's cross our fingers...

Has anyone heard anything about anything from the department? The wait is killing, especially when it comes to big decisions, like where to go for grad school. Anything you know is a help here, at least I could have planned my summer accordingly.... (stanford starts in late Sep., and most others in Aug)
