Hi snep! Thanks alot for the suggestion. Yes I am an international student so I don't have the luxury of making campus visits. May I know what is your intended field of research and the reason for choosing ND?
Currently I'm leaning towards GaTech as there are more projects on nanomaterials. However I also heard that choosing is a compatible advisor may be better than choosing the field of interest.
I will try to find out more by asking the graduate students =)
I only received the letter of acceptance at the end of March via air mail as I am an international student. Apparently the application status website does not show the outcome.
Hi guys! I got acceptance to these 2 schools and I cannot really make up my mind. There are professors who I would like to work with in both schools. However, I heard that the students in GATech get pushed really hard especially during the PhD qualifying exams. I am majoring in chemical engineering and it would help alot if I can have opinions about these 2 schools and the cities that they are situated in. Thanks alot!
