Is your decision just pending funding?
I have been rejected at 5 schools and while I wish I wasn't, I heartily accept the rejection.
I have been notified that I am waitlisted at 2 schools: Kansas and CUNY. It looks grim.
One additional school has not deigned to tell me anything! (rejection, I imagine)
Who else is waitlisted and where? Anyone relinquishing waitlist spots?
This was the first paragraph of my rejection email. Perhaps it depends on you.
"When you submitted your application for admission, you indicated that
Graduate Enrollment Services could contact you by email regarding the
status of your application. This email is your official decision letter
from the Graduate School."
Thanks for posting this. I'm in virtually the same boat - had an interview about two weeks ago and they said it would take them about a month (!) to decide.
FYI: Called UCSC today and they confirmed emails will be sent in March. Apparently there will not be an interview weekend. That's all the information they would divulge.
