I have similar confusion about Connecticut. Where is my rejection already?

Thanks for your reply! I don't hold out much hope. I know they accepted a lot more people than they intend to take. Is your decision just pending funding?

I have been rejected at 5 schools and while I wish I wasn't, I heartily accept the rejection. I have been notified that I am waitlisted at 2 schools: Kansas and CUNY. It looks grim. One additional school has not deigned to tell me anything! (rejection, I imagine) Who else is waitlisted and where? Anyone relinquishing waitlist spots?

This was the first paragraph of my rejection email. Perhaps it depends on you. "When you submitted your application for admission, you indicated that Graduate Enrollment Services could contact you by email regarding the status of your application. This email is your official decision letter from the Graduate School."

Has anyone heard of any acceptances at CUNY?

Oh I'm sorry Sweeney. I've been anticipating that nauseated feeling for awhile now. maybe it will be waiting for me in the mail later.

I am also pending- to whomever got the rejection letter- can you say when it was dated? Maybe mine is taking a while to get to the West Coast?

I applied to UMass -Amherst and have heard nothing (despite emailing). Are you going go to Kansas? (I'm waitlisted there!)

Thanks for posting this. I'm in virtually the same boat - had an interview about two weeks ago and they said it would take them about a month (!) to decide.

UCSC rejection day hurt. So, who got into UCSC? Details please!

Sweeney- I emailed UMass. No response.

FYI: Called UCSC today and they confirmed emails will be sent in March. Apparently there will not be an interview weekend. That's all the information they would divulge.
