Not sure yet. It's one of my top three for sure. See, I never though I'd even get into Berkeley, so my top choices were thrown out of whack. Coates is also on my list, actually. My research adviser highly recommended him.

Yeah, I'm going to call them tomorrow. Any idea of who you want to meet? I'm thinking Marohn as my top choice, but I also have to go look up some of the condensed matter people who were recommended to me.

Berkeley started admission in late December. I wouldn't give up on it yet though... because unlike some of you I haven't heard from Columbia! Anyone apply to Chemical Physics at Columbia? I haven't heard back, and I'm wondering if that's due to it being Chemical Physics and not just Chemistry. I'm Physical/Materials. I love lasers and magnets.
