Anyone got admission offer from the website for Cambridge's PhD in Engineering program? Does anyone have any idea when they notify on the website for conditional acceptance? Thanks.

I am waitlisted for CMU's COS. I think this year waitlisted candidates have higher chances of getting in. Because many say that, when compared to previous years, programs were tighter in sending out more admits then they would be supporting due to economic situation. Am I so optimistic :? Any speculative ideas?

Anyone know how the procedure works in Cambridge's Board of Graduate Studies? As far as I know, before making funding decisions, they send a "conditional acceptance" which is either subject to funding or not. If I am correct, approximately has anyone have any idea about when they send an official conditional acceptance letter?

No prob... Verbal 410, Math 800, Writing 3.5, TOEFL 108. Undergrad GPA: 3.06, Grad GPA: 3.92, 1 extremely relevant conference paper, 1 journal submission.

I am also waitlisted. But I don't know what should I do. Any advice?
