Hi, I noticed your program of interest is Counselling Psychology, did you apply to the Masters or PhD. I'm still waiting to hear back from my schools, one of which is Calgary.
I´ve applied to the MSc in Calgary and MA in Toronto.Have you also applied to these programs?

I know how you feel...Have you applied to other universities as well? They will e-mail us the decisions (at least, that's what they told me).

U of T MA Counseling Psychology anyone?
Was rejected from NYU about a week ago and FREAKING out about U of T. Ah. Can't wait anymore.
I applied to OISE M.A. in Counselling Psychology .I sent them an e-mail last week and they told me that decisions will be sent out in late March/early April.

Hello guys!
I'm facing-more or less-the same dilemma:i applied for grad studies to both u of calgary and u of toronto.I was admitted to the u of c (i've already accepted the offer) and waiting to hear the decision from u of t.U of T's considered more prestigious that u of c and provides funding upon admission. On the other hand,u of c (and life in calgary) is cheaper and i'm excited with the program of studies (whereas i believe that the program in Toronto won't be a good fit for me).I regret saying this, but i wish the u of t rejected me...

Hello everyone!
I'm an international student and i was accepted at the U of C for grad studies.I'm also gay and, unfortunately, after having done my reserach,i realized that Calgary is indeed a quite conservative city.I don't mind though, because if the city claims to be multicultural and welcoming,it's high time it acted as such.If supremacists think otherwise,i suppose i'll have to fight hard against homophobia and oppression,as part of a huge minority that strives for visibility and equal standing. At least,it is very conforting that u of c cares about and protects (or so it seems) the lgbt community.
To cherylsafina:Don't worry about anything else except for your studies.I'm sure that, once in calgary, you'll build your support network and everything will be just fine-personally,i wouldn't sacrifice my studies for noone's sake.
Cheer up!
Does prestige matter as much for Masters?
