Calling all headed to Poland! if you're interested in joining a facebook group for Poland Fulbrighters (both ETAs and research grant recipients), message me individually! and good luck to everyone still waiting!

i'm going on three weeks after initial acceptance, and still no word about placement for my ETA. has anyone else waited that long? everyone i know has gotten it within two weeks...

CONGRATULATIONS! She just emailed me back and said they were mailed on Monday - so hopefully tomorrow!

to the Poland applicants - I emailed Rachel again about if the letters had already been sent out or whether we're still waiting on them to be sent out this week (determining if we'll hear back this week or next week). just wanted to let y'all know. will keep you posted.

My campus advisor said the same thing - most of the alternates from our school have been placed in other countries, so your chances still look really good! However, they all seem to have been contacted in the summer, once school has already ended. Which makes logistics a bit rushed! But good luck and congratulations on an alternate position!

Has anyone gotten in touch with a contact person for Poland as applicants have for other countries?

ETA! it's funny - i just realized the other day that technically, we've all been waiting since october. it's been such a marathon, but it's the last week or so that has been actually painful.

has anyone else noticed a marked lull on the spreadsheet...i feel like there haven't been any letters recently. (coming from someone who stalks the spreadsheet 10 times daily). dear poland, where are you?

does anyone have the link to the googledocs from previous years? I'm waiting on an ETA in poland, and frustratingly, no one seems to know anything about it...
