Just wanted to second hughw's request for thoughts from those who attended the admitted student's day. It's been really tough to get information on the program from Brown's staff.
Does anyone have/know where I could find admissions statistics for the program, i.e. average gre scores, gpa, %admitted, etc.?
My primary interest is in education policy and I'm considering the MPP program at Brown.
Do people familiar with the program have any idea what the faculty is like in terms of political leanings, specifically ed faculty (the website seems to be outdated as it lists Martin West as a professor even though he is now at Harvard)?
How feasible is it to get a PhD after or during the course of MPP study? Would an MPP from Brown be a good way to transition into a PhD program, either at Brown or another university?
