  1. Thanks for your reply! I am currently living in small town Iowa which tends to be windy, and also occasionally smells like cows and pigs, so i'm not sure i could get much worse than where i'm living currently. Hopefully, if i decide to go to Greeley, it won't be much worse than where i am now.
  2. Hello all, I've been accepted to Univeristy of Northern Colorado which is in Greeley, and University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I'm not sure where i should attend and am attempting to look at the cities in comparison to one another. Any input at all would be extremely valuable. I am from Arlington, Texas and am currently living in small town Iowa. So, i'm pretty use to all kinds of atmospheres, though i'd like to be in a city where it's not ridiculously difficult to find an apartment that is close to campus that allows dogs. Thanks!
  3. I'm not sure how to use the site yet, so please excuse anything that i am doing incorrectly. I have been accepted to 2 MA programs in English literature: the university of louisiana at lafayette and the university of northern colorado. How do i choose between the two? I have a few friends in the area of colorado, but i am receiving some pressure from my advisor to attend ULL because he received his Doctoral degree from there. I am "first on the waiting list" for a graduate teaching assistantship at ULL, but i'm not sure about the funding at UNCO yet. At UNCO i have a roommate option, and i don't at ULL, but the lafayette area seems to have many more/affordable options for housing near campus that allows pets (i have a dog). I'm not sure which is the better program, and they are relatively similar in size and pricing. So, how to choose? Does anyone have any relation to these schools or any experience involving them? I'd love any input on the subject. Thanks
  4. can't decide between my 2 admits.. ULL or UNCO.. HELP! unsure of funding yet
