I have applied to 3 majors: Mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering and Civil Engineering. Up to now, I have received admissions from Purdue(ME,ranking 9), Ohio State(ME, rangking21), UC Davis(CE, ranking16), Columbia(CE, ranking 31) and Penn State( AE, ranking 13). I need to make important choices for both major and school and it is really hard for me. It seems that it is very difficult for Chinese students to find a job in aerospace engineering industry in US. What is more, the degree in this major abroad is not highly admitted in China. Which major do you think is better? I plan to come back to China after getting the M.S. or Ph.D. degree.
