  1. Thanks for the reply. I think both programs have great faculty and structure for Photography/New Media. Another thing I really like about Parsons is the possibility to take electives in other schools under the umbrella of The New School. I couldn't find much information on either of these programs in the forums, so I thought a request for general opinions and impressions would be valid.
  2. Hello, I am an international student who works mostly with new media/photography and I got into Bard and Parsons. Since I am not 100% familiar with education in the U.S. I thought I should ask you for a tip or two, since I'm currently not sure which program to choose. I believe it's hard to compare Bard to any program since it's completely different structurally, but with that mind, how does it stand in comparison to Parsons? I am particularly skeptical about it's short length - I wonder if it's not a better program for people who have to work throughout the year or who don't have time for a full-time program. I'm looking for the most intense education I can get for my MFA. Someone commented I could accept both offers and not attend one for one year or semester. Is this really possible? Or is there a way I could defer one of the offers and in case the program I chose proves to be the wrong option I could go back and accept their offer next year?
  3. they called me saturday evening to let me know i was accepted! i believe during the interview they mentioned they'd let people know during the weekend and also on monday, good luck! btw, have you heard from sva?
  4. The interview invitations for New Genres at Columbia have been sent out... Does anybody know if they send out rejection letters or one should just assume they're not in if they don't get the interview invitation? I'm out of hope by now...
  5. Please let me know how it went, I'm applying for next fall...
