Thanks emelie. It looks like we'll be lucky to receive word before the end of of the month. I bet some people will have to significantly alter plans because of this delay.

I hear you. I'm waiting on Kazakhstan. Not only do I have similar logistical issues, but receiving/not receiving the IIE may determine my near-term career choice and thus my life's course. Alacrity would be appreciated.

Got my notice today by email - rejected. I'm extremely disappointed since the grant is designed precisely for people in our specialty. Good luck to the rest.

Thanks Nebu. Perhaps that means that the rest of the Central/South Asia notices are going out too.

Thanks for letting us know. Her email seems pretty generic and it seems like the Fulbright people are avoiding giving any sort of definitive date in case the process is delayed. However it wouldn't surprise me if Central Asia applicants are among the last to find out.

I also applied for Central Asia (Kazakhstan). Apparently last year most Central Asia people received notification around April 15, so that would be a good benchmark.
