Got my grant approved today for Sigma Xi, via e-mail!

Site is running like molasses in January. I don't see anything when I log in so I guess I've got an educated guess. I can wait until the official list is put up to emote one way or the other. Good luck to everyone.

If anyone is in the mood for a CSB situation while we wait: I study sex determination in turtles, which have temperature-dependent sex determination. Last year, my NSF reviewer told me that to be well rounded I should join the transgender/transexual student organization as a scientific advisor. So...I've got that to look forward to.

Got the heave-ho last year, not setting myself up for disappointment this year but it would sure be sweet!
