Noting for Malaysia in North Carolina today either. This delay seems bizarre. I'm so frustrated with this whole process... I wish they could just tell us over email like some of the other countries have done. It's 2011- nobody should be depending solely on snail mail...

Any word on Malaysia? I didn't get anything today. (North Carolina)

Some of the postmark dates were before a weekend, though, so that probably messed up the timing between the postmark date and the receiving date. On a similar note, I hope that my Malaysia notification arrives today, because my temporary address expires this weekend. And then I'll have to wait even longer for my university to redirect the mail home or (more likely) request another letter to be sent to my permanent address. Alas.

Yeah, I heard about that on Monday. Anyone know of any newer news about Malaysia?

Malaysia notifications are going out "at the earliest, at the end of this week, but we don't have definite information." Why, oh why must they tease us like this?!

So frustrating! I called him on Monday and he said the same thing. At least it meant that I didn't have to check my mailbox five times every day... Can someone try calling him later today and asking if there's any further information on when the letters would be sent out? I have to make a deposit at a law school today, and I would really like to know whether I need to request a deferral or not......

Based on last year, the Malaysia letters should be arriving sometime this week.... so nervous!

Good morning everyone! Any Malaysia kids out there? I've applied for a full grant. I'm an undergrad, and I'm currently dying to know what I'm going to make of my life in a few months. Jonathan Akeley said that Malaysia tends to go out mid- to late-April, but I'm feeling a little more hopeful because Indonesia people were notified a week earlier than last year. Not that that necessarily means anything for Malaysia... I'm really just clutching at straws here.
