Update: I got in!!!! I got my acceptance packet telling me to respond by FRIDAY (April 22nd) as to whether I am going for sure. I think I am, but I am still riding the high of being accepted and financial aid is unsure for me. My application was under review by the January 15th deadline and was under review at the end of March. I have info from a valid source saying that all the notifications for the Jan 15th deadline apps were sent out on Friday, April 15th. Also in case anyone wants to know, here are my stats: GPA 3.33, no GRE, about two years of experience, but I'm only 21 years old, straight out of Pepperdine University, and I am caucasian/American Indian.

Congrats! I can't help you with the decision but I'm just wondering, when did you apply to NYU (By the Feb 7th deadline?) and when did you hear back? I'm still waiting!

Which deadline was your application in for?

I got the email from Amber saying my application was complete by the Jan 15th deadline on March 25th. Called the admissions office a week later, and they told me my app was in review and to expect something in the next couple weeks. Still no word, but I guess two weeks would be up on the 15th. Trying to decide whether to be hopeful Edit: Just called again and got the same answer, my application is in final review and I should hear something via postal mail in "two weeks." Asked if that was two weeks from the date I called a week ago or from today's date. She said since it is still in final review, probably two weeks from today's date. Extend waiting.
