Hi Veilside. Unfortunately I've got absolutely nothing constructive to say but thought I'd commiserate. Princeton is my top choice too, and I am applying to the Ancient Philosophy program within the Classics dept. I've heard absolutely nothing from the majority of the schools I applied to, which is unnerving to say the least. I'm applying directly from an undergrad program as well, and I can't tell whether this fact works against us or not. I thought my apps were pretty good, since I've got a decent undergrad record at a good school, but the fact that other people have had interviews is a tad worrying. The good news is that we haven't been rejected yet, right? In any case good luck, and hopefully we'll hear something soon.
