[Columbia Waitlist?]

Just wondering if anyone has received waitlist notification from Columbia's English program. More importantly, any admits considering turning down the offer - long shot, I know, but at least it gives those on the waitlist some glimmer of hope ....

[Columbia's MA (Only) - Worth it?]

 Hi guys, 

Just wondering if anyone has any word on Columbia's TERMINAL MA in English Lit? The website says one shouldn't hold one's breathe thinking that it will give you a leg up when applying to their PhD; apparently it is rare an MA student gets into the doctorate program! So since it is unfunded, any feedback/insight from those who have either attended in the past or hoping to get in will be really helpful.

So from the above post, I guess NYU Comp Lit has already sent out offers?? Still waiting for rejection .... ho hum. Columbia still silent. Checked website, no change.

Congratulations to all those who have received acceptance!! Let's hope they inform students 'in waves'. Now anyone receive any word on when rejection letters are expected. Or anyone rejected already?

Nothing..... NADA. Sent an email, called, yesterday (25 Feb) .....no response to either attempt ... Mmmmmh. Couple of folks already posted that they received offers via email - apparently .....
