Hi Aaron-- Where are you coming from in California? I, too, am hazarding the cross-country venture, although I'll be in the Literature Dept. I do have a car on the east coast (since I did my undergrad there), but Durham's pretty small and not all that hill-y. I live about a mile and a half from campus and am planning on biking it.
