I applied to five programs (for poetry): USC Utah UIC Denver Mizzou I re-took the verbal and writing. I improved my verbal score significantly--slightly below average to slightly above. But my writing score remained the same--3.5. This sucks. Creative folks: should I re-send these scores? A 3.5 is competent, but definitely not a 4.5 or 5. Let me know your thoughts.
