Rutgers traditionally has been really strong in Physical anthro, but in the last couple years they've really beefed up their Cultural program. Check out their website to learn all about the new-ish CITE program (Critical Interventions in Theory and Ethnography). From what I hear, it's a really great department -- lots of support from faculty members, help finding funding for fieldwork, friendly student environment, etc.
