  1. The website for my application to UW Madison was recently updated to say that I actually don't have an application for their program anymore.

I know many people have heard from them, and it's not really my top choice, but should I be concerned that they possibly deleted my application?

I just checked mine and it says "in review" still. IDK what happend with your application though. I'm pretty sure the next visitation is this weekend so I'm just assuming rejection for me.

  2. So I went onto the Scripps website the other day to see if my application status had changed, and I couldn't log into the system. It made it seem like my application had been deleted. I am assuming rejection if that is the case, kind of a strange way to find out. Anybody else have that problem?

I just tried after ur post and the same thing happend to me :X def a weird way to find out lol.

  3. Still waiting on UNC and UT-Austin....only saw a few acceptances on the results page so hopefully I'm not out of the running. If anyone contacted them about their status keep us updated :)

  4. Random Question:

What times in the day is it typical for people to hear back from schools??

I'm at that psychotic stage where I check my email and phone every 5 minutes....I would like to relax a bit more once 5pm or so if I have nothing to worry about lol.

  5. My subject GRE's were sent to schools on the 10th, and when I checked my application status they had the scores posted on there since they received them from ETS.

Check your apps if you applied anywhere and see if they may have posted them for you :)

  6. Thanks for the advice!!!! I'm not one for standardized tests but I gotta work with what I have.

All the schools I chose I have at minimum 2 lab groups I want to work with and I mentioned them in my Statement of purpose as well.

Research at undergrad institute was medicinal chem (synthesis)

Research at REU was more pharmaceutical sciences (but some organic synthesis)

I'm pretty personable so I'm praying I get to the interview stage and then I can work from there.

  7. Seeing people are already getting acceptances or interviews at some of the schools I'm applying to....so just getting nervous obviously and I want to know if I'll at least go somewhere since no one at my undergrad school knows anything about if I'm competitive or not :D.

  8. I will be shortly applying to graduate school for medicinal chemistry/pharmaceutical chemistry.

There are so many schools to choose from but after a long list of schools I finally found some that seem to fit my liking! The only problem is I don't know if they are Tier 1 2 3 ect type schools, and I don't wanna be applying to all top or bottom school.

    Lemme know what u think:

University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill

    University of Southern California

    University of Kansas

    University of Kentucky

    Northeastern University

    University of Texas at Austin

I don't wanna post all my stats but I have 3.52gpa 2 research experiences and waiting to take the GRE next month.

    Thanks
