  1. Hello, Just as an intro to myself (with my stats, haha): GREs: to be taken in three weeks  GPA: 3.6 from University of Toronto (I don't know how they would assess this) Currently finishing up bachelors in Pharmacology, research experience from two labs(one genetics lab and one physiology lab, i've started less than a year ago and these are still ongoing), 4 lab courses I am applying to biomedical sciences graduate programs for fall 2010 at: U Penn Hopkins Cornell(Weill) Columbia NYU USC .... are these realistic for me ??? i'm already having nightmares.... and I'm thinking of applying for a couple more... suggestions?
  2. Ahhhh! Thanks for all the responses
  3. I'm still in an undergraduate program(Pharmacology) and I'm looking to apply for 2010 year. I've always taken full-course load but I'm having a real difficulty concentrating in one of my elective courses. Would not taking a full-course load in a semester have negative impact in the admission decision? Additionally, would an industrial work experience(in a pharmaceutical company) be an asset (even if it is not a bench-work experience)? Thanks in advance.
  4. My grades are somewhat inconsistent ... I got 4.0 in first year, but I had my "disastrous" and horrendous 2nd year when I went abroad to a non-English speaking country . My GPA after I getting back has been pretty solid. Thankfully, only the credits from abroad were transferred to my transcript. I am now worried however that admissions committe might demand the transcript from my exchange year(the original copy from the school abroad) since it is clearly indicated on my transcript: "CR- exchange program....". Did this happen to anyone? I am having nightmares about this....
