Is there any one who has an information about Columbia EALC phD? There are only masters on "the result". Has the Phd decision not been made yet?

Is there anyone who has an information about McGill?

Congrats~! All newly admitted students A unofficial admission mail from Winconsin-Madison makes me delurked to ask a question about funding. I had applied to TAship for Chinese language, but the department strongly encouraged me to apply for a Korean teaching assistant since I am a Korean. In this case, am I guaranteed to be a TA, or how much possibility I have to be a TA?

I got a mail from my POI. UCSB history department seems to have a result, but the department should wait for the decision of the fellowship from the Graduate Division. The final decision, including the fellowship, will have been made by the first week in March.

I got a request mail January 4th, did the interview 7th. According to my prospective supervisor, the result will perhaps come late February, only 6~7 students will able to obtain full-scholarship, but the interview cannot guarantee it.

I have got an interview at UCSB. My field is ancient Chinese History.
