I'm looking to get in a school which has strong research in Information Security.
Below is my profile:
I took my TOEFL and got 99/120, GRE (Quant:780 Verbal:460 Writing 3.5) more than 2 years ago. Should I retake them?
I got admission to a Master in Information Systems in an unfamous school in US.
Undergrad GPA:7.44/10
Grad GPA:4.0/4/0 (still have 4 courses left)
Worked 2 years as software developer
No publications. I'll try to submit my paper soon.
I define my targets as:
- Top tier: CMU, UC Austin, UC Davis, Virgina Tech
- Medium: U of M Twin Ciites
- Safe: Iowa State University
Does anybody has recent rankings about Information Security for phD program? What additional school should I consider?
