ASU has a PhD program in Applied Math in Life and Social Sciences (http://shesc.asu.edu/node/508) that might be of interest. It's primarily a math modeling program backed by a bunch of people interested in interdisciplinary studies using math modeling, anthro, archaeology, etc. Something to take a look at, eh?
