I have applied to the following for an MS in Environmental Eng: UIUC, Cornell, UT-Austin, Berkeley, Northwestern, MIT Only MIT has yet to respond as of this post (March 10) UIUC, UT, and Northwestern have all had visit weekends and Berkeley has invited me out on March 19th. Has anyone heard of weekend visits for Cornell? So far only Northwestern has contacted me about financial aid for attending their school. Has anyone else heard back about aid for masters at any of these universities? Thanks

Hello, I have been applying for MS degrees in environmental engineering. Thus far I have been accepted to Berkeley, UT-Austin, UIUC, Cornell, and Northwestern. Northwestern has offered me a joint MS/PhD in environmental engineering. I know I shouldn't base my decision on school rankings (I did find a potential adviser and project I really enjoyed at NU when I visited) but I am curious to know if anyone knows how NU ranks for environmental engineering? I know that Berkeley, UIUC, UT-Austin are all within the top 5 or so programs (source: US News) so I am wondering if anyone knows how Northwestern stacks up. Thank you all for your help
