For anyone still wondering about Temple, I emailed one of the professors today because I have yet to hear anything and have tried calling the department numerous times. He got back to me this afternoon and said that they are waiting for people to reject their offers before sending out the next batch of acceptances. He said that, of course, it's hard for them to predict how many seats they'll have open without those responses but that they do hope to get a next round of acceptances (not sure how many that will be) by this Thursday.

To those who are hearing from Temple, where exactly are you checking the status? I know I should just wait to get an email like a normal person but obviously I can't resist. Thanks!

I hope not! I applied to Cincinnati too and haven't heard anything yet. I didn't look like there were so many acceptances listed that those would have been it (although I know not everyone who applies uses this website). Also to those who applied to Temple, I saw on the board that two responses were just recently posted. Did you see your response through the TUPortal under the "apply for admission" tab or was there a separate link?

A little bit disappointed, I really thought this would be the week I would hear from somewhere! I did hear from UNC last week but it was unfortunately a rejection. Trying not to get down and out but it's difficult when people are hearing back from schools you applied to! Even though this website tends to make me a little bit anxious it's at least nice to know that there are plenty of other people feeling the same way. Congrats to everyone who got accepted to a program this week, and lots of support to anyone who didn't receive the best news and/or is still holding out on hearing form other schools!

This is probably the 50th time I've posted something just like this (because apparently I applied to programs that are intent on not letting me know) but my pages are still the same so don't worry! My last name is an F...if that gets us anywhere with the alphabetical hypothesis (I hope so haha). So anxious now that people are hearing back!

Changing the topic on schools but...does anyone know WHAT is going on with maryland? It seems like they had one phase of (seemingly all) acceptances and have pretty much stopped save for a few more acceptances. Anyone know when to anticipate responses? Congrats to all who have already received acceptances so far!

@coffeelover: Congrats, that's wonderful!! Is this your first acceptance? Either way you must be so excited I also applied to UNC and didn't get an email. I feel like this is all I ever post but...don't worry, you're not the only one! I'll be anxiously waiting for that email right along with you. The website does say though that all applicants should hear in early March so not much longer

I also sent in my applications in early November and still haven't heard a word from anyone, you're not alone! It's good to know that I'm not either...

Has anyone not heard from Maryland yet? I've only seen a few acceptances on here so far (and a few were to the 3 year program) but someone in my class just heard today about the 2 year program. I checked my application status and I'm still only at the "application COMPLETE" stage. Is anyone else in the same situation? I'm starting to get a little bit unnerved by the seemingly random process they have in sending out their acceptances.

I'm in the same boat as you...just checked my ASF after I saw this news and mine also says "complete. your application is either under review or will be reviewed soon". Frustrating but I'm hoping everyone hears good news!
