I'm not sure how to interpret this post. I feel like it was a bit condescending. I'm getting impression that you think I feel entitled in some way.

After re-reading my post it does sound very condescending. I'm sorry, I didn't intend it to sound that way.

I may have some free time this week, what city are you in? I will do some digging and see if I can find any decent job openings.

You may need to get a job you don't like. People have been putting themselves through college for a long time. Not everyone can get a TA job, some of us had to work at McDonalds and take an extra year to get through school.

If you can be reassigned that would be helpful. If not, just try to use this time as a learning experience. You may have to work with people like this later in life as well.
