I had emailed her twice in Oct and Nov...but she never replied me. Andersen did reply me in detail and she seems to me a very nice person. I first encountered her work when I was in college long lont time ago. Thus, I really am interested in joining her lab and working with her. I wish GRE is not that important...sigh...I thought solid research experience could replace bad GRE score...in fact, I have taken the GRE twice and the second time was even worse than the first one...do PhD programs usuallly look at your most recent score or simply your best score?
Andersen and West. I am very interested in Andersen work. So far, I got rejected by UCLA, UC Berkeley, Northwestern, and CUNY already...I am waiting for NYU, Uni of Houston, Uni of South Florida, and Uni of Chicago...I hope I can at least get into Uni of Houston or Uni of South Florida...they are my backup schools.
I also applied for NYU social psychology. So nervous waiting for an interview right now. I also applied for CUNY graduate center...sigh...no news and I realized that I should have got rejected...these two are the programs that I wanna get into...I am wondering if GRE really matters (V:520; Q:680)...'cause I think I have high GPA (3.6) and solid research experiences (4> yrs after undergraduate)...
