I am also waiting... I have applied to (a mere!) 6 PhD programs: Chicago (The Committee on Social Thought...did anyone else apply here?), Emory, Boston College, Boston University, U Oregon and Baylor. Now that I see these other lists, I'm thinking I under-applied? I already have an MA in History of Philosophy, 3.8 GPA from that and a 3.4 undergrad GPA. GRE: 800 v, 740 q, 5.5 aw My interests are history of philosophy, political philosophy and German philosophy (especially Kant & Hegel).
