I actually will be applying for FAll 2013 grad journalism admissions. I'm currently a junior. Kaplan is on our campus with an 8-week (1 session for 2 hours each week) classroom program for about $1000. There are also classroom programs over the summer sort of the same scenario but with 4 - 6 sessions from Sherwood, Kaplan, PowerScore, etc. all in the range of about $800. 1) is it worth it? 2) when do students usually take the GRE? 3) Do students take it more than once?
