Has anyone received any information on their program aside from the initial offer letter/information? I feel like it has been silent on the side of UW....

It was the same for me as well. I contacted the graduate coordinator to set up a campus visit -- but the contact has been on and off since then. The problem appears to be gathering enough professors at the same time for my visit to be worth while.

I've been attempting to look for jobs as well -- nothing full time but just something to keep me occupied until I move. I've come to the realization though that a job is stretch and it will soon be June and moving in the middle of August -- people won't be too likely to hire me. So now I'm just hoping to pass my time by doing some travelling and other things that I know I won't be able to do once I move to Canada -- plus I'll be going back and forth to Canada starting to settle some important things. One problem with no job is the money though. Guess I'll be surviving off of my graduation money.

Has anyone given a thought as to where they're trying to live? As convenient as their on campus housing sounds I'm still trying to find a cheapish place to live off campus which is harder than I thought it would be...

No I haven't had the chance too! I'm going to go up and meet with my department in the early summer -- how about you?
