CUNY, NYU admits = any news for the rest of us? Especially NYCEP folks? Thanks!!!!

I received my informal acceptance from the CUNY Graduate Center late last night, and that was a pleasant surprise. I remember someone said department visit invitations for local students already went out last week, and given the fact that I live in NYC, I thought I was just waiting for the thank you e-mail. But apparently they are still in the process of making decisions, and I'm under the impression that more acceptances will trickle down. Decisions on funding, too, are not definitive yet, and the acceptance I received specifically said they cannot guarantee fellowships at this point.

I am an international student by the way.

One person has been accepted by UPenn, and one person has been rejected. I haven't received any email. Is that one more example of the trickling down of results as described by Laurissimo, or is it just that these people contacted their POIs?

Not that I'm hopeful (I'm really not) but it would be nice to know, and I'd be very happy if anyone could give me some information

i am the person who posted the UPenn rejection. I wrote to my POI and was told that all acceptances had gone out. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

Re princeton - maybe so. The visit weekend is to be the 9th of March. So you should hear of an acceptance well before.

I see from the results page that several applicants were already admitted by Princeton. If I have not been contacted by Princeton by now, should I assume that a rejection is on the way?

Did you already receive an interview invitation from Berkeley? If so, do you know if all their invitations have gone out? I also applied to Berkeley (sociocultural) but I didn't hear a word from them yet. If they have already made interview requests to candidates in their short-list, I might have to brace for the reject...
