  1. Same with me. I've sent my deposit three weeks ago. Next week I'll start processing my I-20 and visa request. I hope we'll meet at the campus this fall.
  2. Same with me @Sengpatt and @MYRNIST, all are pointing to GW. I'll probably taking the IA in Int'l Econ Affairs. It is good to know both of you in this forum.
  3. In at SAIS, but with micro and macroeconomics pre-requisite, plus Academic English pre-term courses. Just figure out that SAIS does not have on campus-housing, and their housing website only offers off-campus housing. Still browsing for a room/basement in a walking distance to SAIS under $600. Any hint?
  4. Yeah. I think so. Hopefully my sponsor will raise the stipend in case I choose DC. Thank you for the valuable info @K.Ash. In case the stipend is raised, I will put my focus more on the program strength rather than how to survive. So, the map will be SAIS MA-Energy, Resources and Environment VS ESIA MA-International Affairs (I want to study economic growth through energy independency and debt relief). Well, the problem with my government (I am government sponsored) is that they believe their awardee could survive with those limited stipend (very darwinian aren't they?). Yet, rumors saying that they will raise the stipend according to some kind of city indices #crossingfinger
  5. Need advises, please. Just got in to SAIS with conditional acceptance: 1. Take macro and microeconomics courses 2. Matriculating for English due to low scores of TOEFL (105) and AW GRE (4). But got admitted unconditionally at ESIA, Josef Korbel DU, and GSPIA Pittsburgh. I already got a sponsor to pay my tuition (limitless), but I am short in living allowance (only USD 1k/mo). Looking at my condition, where is the best place to study IR in political economy guys? For the record, I am working for the ministry of finance, surprised that I am doing good at GRE Q, but never took economics class (my work mostly negotiating international financial agreement).
  6. Can you tell me how much is the stipend? I am also an international student and aiming for DC. I want to compare it with my scholarship's stipend from the World Bank.
  7. Josef Korbel - GTFEI Informed informally after an interview on Feb 7th and received the formal email on Feb 10.
