Finally got the official rejection from FSU. Seems they're having technical issues with their online app system. Seriously blows. On the other hand, profound embarrassment with the rejection is strangely fulfilling. Guess I'm vindictive that way.

Seriously? A rejection letter, dated April 5th, doesn't get sent out until April 20th? So much fail.

Emailing the remaining programs about timeline for decisions was probably a good thing. Makes me feel more proactive, instead of just sitting around moping about stuff. I'd rather get all rejections and find out sooner than sit around driving myself to batshit crazytown over the open-ended waiting.

One more rejection. This whole process is hell.

Really wishing programs would send out notices in large batches instead of people hearing from somebody who happens to email them. And stop torturing us with delayed rejections. False hope is just mean.

Waiting for news. Feeling antsy and a little crazy. This process kind of sucks.
